Douglas Haddad is an award-winning middle-school science teacher, author, nutritionist and sought-after keynote speaker who inspires audiences at the intersection of parenting, education and health. Haddad was named his district's “Teacher of the Year,” and a finalist for Connecticut Teacher of the Year, as well as the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
Douglas brings over 25 years of classroom experience with tweens and teens, along with real-world insight, to every stage he steps onto. He is the author of The Ultimate Guide to Raising Teens and Tweens (Rowman & Littlefield, 2017) and the empowering children’s book series Mya McLure, The Brave Science Girl. Douglas equips families and educators with practical, research-based strategies to cultivate resilience, confidence, and purpose in young people.
